Children’s Health Improvement through Laboratory Diagnostics (CHILDx) was formed in 1999, sponsored by ARUP Laboratories and the University of Utah Department of Pathology, and includes a National Advisory Committee. CHILDx focuses on the unique challenges of pediatric laboratory medicine. Working in partnership with pediatric health care professionals across the country, CHILDx aspires to improve the health care of children through service, education, and research in pediatric laboratory testing.
