Objective:

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • 1. Describe infectious diseases in children
  • 2. Identify appropriate lab tests
  • 3. Analyze lab/physician communication and cooperation
  • 4. Design appropriate strategy to test for pediatric infectious diseases
  • 5. Estimate effect on global health for children
